Katalyst Foundation's Cyclone Yasa Relief Fund
On the 17th December 2020, a category 5 cyclone (Cyclone Yasa) devastated the second largest island in Fiji, with widespread flooding and landslides destroying villages, and leaving already vulnerable Fijian citizens displaced or without power and water.
With Fiji being one of Australia’s closest neighbours, and one that holds a special place in the hearts of the KOOKAÏ family as the homeland of one of our founders and of over 1,000 of our employees, we want to help!
Through KOOKAÏ's supported charity, Katalyst Foundation, we will be focussing on the immediate priorities of providing food, water and shelter in the short term; with plans to help prepare the community for the future with cyclone-proof housing.
You can help us with our relief efforts, by donating to the Katalyst Foundation’s Cyclone Yasa Relief, with 100% of proceeds going directly to providing aid (KOOKAÏ will cover all administrative costs).
