Kookai is a dynamic fashion retail company.  

With the expansion of various global markets, our Branding team is growing, and we now have an exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced Social Media and Content Coordinator to join our team.

This role reports to the Head of Marketing and Digital and indirectly the Global Brand Manager to manage and maintain Kookai’s social media channels. The role is responsible for creating content and posting across various platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. It involves scheduling and posting a consistent brand message, ensuring high levels of engagement.  The Social Media and Content Coordinator will have the Kookai customer at the forefront at all times and requires a passionate and creative candidate with innovative ideas to further evolve the brand.

What you'll be doing:

  • Developing and implementing a social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Managing social channels including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and TikTok
  • Creating and curating content, including filming and editing
  • Ensuring a creative direction with brand storytelling to drive traffic and engagement
  • Scheduling and publishing posts across all social media platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding
  • Monitoring social media channels and responding to comments and enquires as a priority
  • Proactively evaluating, reviewing and suggesting new ways to improve and grow brand presence
  • Monitoring social media trends to identify growth opportunities
  • Assisting with the creation of seasonal campaigns and photoshoots as required

What we’d love from you:

  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation for a fashion and or beauty company
  • Qualifications in Digital Marketing, Communications, PR and or a related field
  • Proficiency in content creation tools
  • Excellent written communication and a creative flair to engage an audience
  • Pragmatic, hands on approach
  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Adaptability
  • Can do approach and initiative
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
